Online Educational Games
Playing has always been a part of children's lives. Whether it is playing sports such as basketball and football outside or playing electronic games, kids loves to play and that is considered to be the best way for them to learn (news.stanford.edu).
Kids will play no matter where they go. Whether they are at home, school or even at the mall, they will want to play. When facing an electronic device, they would only want to play with it and would hate not being able to play with it. When it comes to computers, kids will also play. That's how we can introduce educational games to them. Educational games such as "Blast Off" is not only fun, but it also teaches kids from 6-7 how to play games online while learning how to add.
Blast Off is a game that can be played at a website called funbrain. Funbrain is one of the many education online games that kids could play while learning at the same time. Blast off happens to be one of their easiest games to play and easily loved by children of ages 6-7. That's why, kids should play educational games such as blast off.
Playing games while learning is important. According to an article from the University of Stanford, "Bringing games to bear in education is not a matter of dumbing down" (news.stanford.edu). Although some thinks that kids should not be playing games, they actually need to do so due to the fact that it helps their minds to wander about a certain topic and learn about it while playing.
In conclusion, kids will always need to play. When it comes to technology, they should be taught about educational online games so they can learn while using technology. Learning should not stop them from playing, but they should be able to learn while they are having fun playing (news.stanford.edu). That is why, educational online games are important.
